Hilarie Burton was still in her 30s when she publicly embraced her prematurely graying hair in 2020, taking to Instagram to reveal her substantial silvery roots, explaining that she wouldn't dye it brown again amid the coronavirus pandemic. "For all of our frontline and essential workers who are too busy to fuss with things like hair color, I grow mine out in solidarity with you," she explained.
In January 2023, the "One Tree Hill" actress — seen here in April 2023 — took to social media again to share that she was back to caring for herself but would continue to embrace her gray. "Mama got her silver done!! It had been ages since I'd done anything to my hair. I'm parenting. Working. Who has the time??" she captioned a pic of her beautiful locks. "But growing out gray is kinda a b****. So when I texted my friend @amanda_latuabellahair that I needed help, she killed it. 'Make me look like a hot witch' I said. 'No problem' she answered. Thank you babe. I feel so much better. Xxxxx."
