Britney Spears' fans are demanding to know her whereabouts after Sam Asghari posted a solo picture to Instagram over the weekend.
On March 28, the model shared an image from Southern California.
"Sunday stroll wearing my comfortable tracksuit," he captioned dueling photos. He also posted a few videos to his Instagram Story. Britney, however, was nowhere to be found in the pictures or videos. In fact, Sam last posted an image with the pop star in mid-February, and, despite being highly active on Instagram, Britney has only been seen on his page four times in 2021.
Following his new post, the #FreeBritney brigade began asking "Where's Britney?" and "How is Britney?" Sam, as usual, didn't respond to the questions.
"How do you still have any fans? Clearly you ignore every question asked about Britney, the person you supposedly love, and act like nothing strange is going on with her life," one fan wrote, according to The Blast. "You could be a major advocate for her yet you choose to stay silent. Either you're involved with the evil or you just don't [care]… Looks and money don't matter if your heart and soul is filled with rot."
Another fan theorized, without proof, that he couldn't discuss the romance because he was "under contract."
The fan's concerns come just days after Britney filed legal documents to get her father, Jamie Spears, taken off of her conservatorship case permanently. Instead, she wants Jodi Montgomery to be appointed as full-time conservator, a role Jodi has held — under a temporary basis — for a year and a half.
The Blast surmises that this is the "beginning of the legal process of Britney Spears getting the entire conservatorship case dismissed."
Those who watched the "Framing Britney Spears" documentary know that terminating a conservatorship case is an uphill climb. Jamie could still challenge Britney's new legal request.
