Brie Bella's son is leaving a lasting impression on her body, and she's loving every minute of it.
On March 22, the "Total Bellas" star shared a photo of her body nine months after her son, Buddy, was born. Gone are her omnipresent washboard abs, but Brie feels just as strong with her body right now.
"The more baby weight I lose the more my treasure marks from Buddy are showing up," she wrote on Instagram. "Buddy pretty much grew through my belly button lol I guess the old wives tales were right how boys grow! Low!!"
The former WWE wrestler notes that she's been working out hard, but admits that she sometimes struggles with self image.
"After my second C section I've been really kicking my butt to get my abs back! And sooo is the saggy stomach which is normal after babies," she said. "Sometimes it's hard for me to look in the mirror and see my body. I always tell myself to be kind and grateful but I'm human so picking myself apart happens."
Brie and her twin sister Nikki, who welcomed a son last July 31, just one day before Brie delivered Buddy, decided to remind themselves of their strength by creating a body wash with the words "I Am Empowering" on the bottle. The sisters use the wash "every morning and night when you are completely vulnerable."
"Instead of tearing yourself down, you build yourself up," Brie said. "You might see me at the pool in my one piece but I'm showing all of you that my treasure marks are something special. They remind me of a special connection I got to share with my sweet babies for 9 months."
Following the post, many of Brie's wrestling pals commented with love.
Former WWE Women's Champion Carmella wrote, "You're amazing!" WWE icon Trish Stratus commented with a heart emoji.
