In honor of the 2021 Golden Globe Awards on Feb. 28, Wonderwall.com has rounded up some of the award-winning and nominated films and television shows you can watch following the awards telecast… starting with the 2021 Golden Globe best picture winner, "Nomadland." Written and directed by the ultra-talented Chloe Zhao — who also took home the Golden Globe for best director (the first woman to do so since Barbra Streisand won for directing "Yentl" in 1984!) — 2020's "Nomadland" chronicles the experiences of a woman who, after losing all of her earnings during the recession, journeys throughout the American West as a present-day nomad. "The Undoing" on HBO Max

Based on Jean Hanff Korelitz's 2014 novel, "The Undoing" stars Nicole Kidman as an affluent New York City-based therapist who finds herself, along with her husband (played by Hugh Grant), embroiled in a twisted murder case. The miniseries earned four Golden Globe nods this year including best limited series, best performance by an actress and actor in a limited series or TV movie for Nicole and Hugh and best supporting actor for co-star Donald Sutherland.

"Emily in Paris" on Netflix

Darren Star fans, look no further for your next binge-worthy watch! "Emily in Paris" starring Lily Collins tells the story of a 20-something marketing executive from Chicago who's transferred to the boutique Parisian marketing firm her company's just acquired in order to provide an American point of view. While her professional life begins to stabilize, her personal life gets increasingly complicated. Lily earned a nod for best performance by an actress in a musical or comedy TV series and the show was up for best musical or comedy television series.

"Promising Young Woman" on Apple TV+

What can't Carey Mulligan do?! In "Promising Young Woman," the actress stars as exceptionally cunning Cassie Thomas who, after experiencing a traumatic sexual assault, vows to exact revenge on those who've wronged her. For her work in the dark comedy, which has earned acclaim for its resolute commentary on rape culture, Carey earned a nomination for best actress in a movie drama.

"I Care a Lot" on Netflix

"I Care a Lot" stars Rosamund Pike, who took home the 2021 Golden Globe Award for best actress in a musical or comedy film for her performance as Marla Grayson, a duplicitous legal caretaker who makes a living out of swindling the fortunes of those she looks after. After draining the savings of someone she thinks is just another elderly woman, she comes to realize her charge is more dangerously connected than she seems.

"Normal People" on Hulu

Based on Sally Rooney's 2018 novel of the same name, "Normal People" chronicles the tumultuous relationship between Marianne (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Connell (Paul Mescal) as they journey from adolescence through adulthood. The Ireland-set show, which earned a nod for best limited series or movie made for television, received critical acclaim for its directing, writing and acting. Daisy earned a Golden Globe nod for best actress in a limited series or TV movie.

"Emma" on Hulu, HBO Max & Apple TV+

It's hard not to adore Anya Taylor-Joy. Based on Jane Austen's 1815 novel of the same name, "Emma" follows the trials and tribulations of Emma Woodhouse, a young woman who takes on the role of matchmaker for all those around her. For her work in the period drama, which earned $26 million on a $10 million budget, Anya received a nod for best actress in a musical or comedy film.

"Palm Springs" on Hulu

Starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti, "Palm Springs" explores the peculiar reality that two wedding guests find themselves trapped within — they're stuck in a time loop, reliving the same day over and over again. Of course, as they attempt to break free, their friendship turns romantic. "Palm Springs" earned two 2021 Golden Globe nominations for best musical or comedy movie and best actor for Andy Samberg.

"Hamilton" on Disney+

If you have yet to watch "Hamilton," what have you been doing with your time?! Lin-Manuel Miranda stars as the titular first secretary of the treasury, Alexander Hamilton, in the filmed version of the original Broadway production. The musical earned two 2021 Golden Globe nominations: best musical or comedy film and best actor for Lin-Manuel (who also composed the project!).

"One Night in Miami" on Amazon Prime Video

Regina King made her directorial debut with 2020's "One Night in Miami," a fictitious story of the meeting between Malcolm X, Jim Brown, Sam Cooke and Muhammad Ali in a Miami hotel room in February 1964 following the boxer's historic win against Sonny Liston. Regina earned a Globes nod for best director while Leslie Odom Jr. earned a nod for best supporting actor.

"The Great" on Hulu

Elle Fanning stars as Catherine the Great in Hulu's "The Great," which has been deemed an anti-historical account of the royal's rise to power in 18th century Russia. The satirical comedy earned three 2021 Golden Globe Award nominations including best performance by an actress in a TV musical or comedy series for Elle, best actor for Nicholas Hoult and best musical or comedy TV series.

"Judas and the Black Messiah" on HBO Max

The 2021 biopic "Judas and the Black Messiah" follows FBI informant William O'Neal as he infiltrates the Illinois Black Panther Party and gathers crucial information on its charismatic head, Chairman Fred Hampton. Daniel Kaluuya earned the 2021 Golden Globe Award for best supporting actor in a motion picture for his portrayal of the late leader.

"Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" on Hulu

In search of a series that serves up equal parts heart and comedy? You've met your match. Starring Jane Levy, "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" chronicles the experiences of a computer coder who finds herself bestowed with a unique power: the ability to hear people's most intimate thoughts expressed in the form of musical dance numbers. As the people around her continue to unknowingly sing their feelings, she's left with the difficult task of decoding the meaning behind them. Jane earned a Globe nod for best performance by an actress in a musical or comedy TV series.

"Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" on Netflix

Based on August Wilson's play of the same name, 2020's "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" chronicles the heightened tensions between prominent blues singer Ma Rainey and her exceptional trumpeter during a recording session in 1920. The late Chadwick Boseman, who delivered his final on-screen performance in the film, earned the 2021 Golden Globe Award for best actor in a movie drama for his role.

"The Trial of the Chicago 7" on Netflix

Written and directed by Aaron Sorkin — who earned the Golden Globe for best screenplay — "The Trial of the Chicago 7" recounts the true-story of the 1969 trial of seven men who partook in counterculture protests at the Democratic National Convention a year prior. For his role in the legal drama, Sacha Baron Cohen earned a nod for best supporting actor in a motion picture.

"The Flight Attendant" on HBO Max

This is a series we didn't know we needed! Led by Kaley Cuoco and based on the 2018 Chris Bohjalian novel of the same name, "The Flight Attendant" follows alcoholic flight attendant Cassie Bowden as she struggles to piece together a night in Bangkok after waking up next to a body in a hotel room. Fearful of going to the police, she takes it upon herself to investigate the crime and find out who is responsible for the murder. Kaley earned a nod for best actress in a musical or comedy TV series for her starring performance. "The Flight Attendant" was also nominated for best musical or comedy television series.

"Lovecraft Country" on HBO Max

Another 2021 Golden Globe-nominated book adaptation? HBO's "Lovecraft Country," which earned a nod for best television drama series. The horror series starring Jurnee Smollett and Jonathan Majors is set in the 1950s in a segregated United States and chronicles a man's journey to reunite with his missing father. In the process, he uncovers diabolical truths about a town that famed horror writer H.P. Lovecraft has long referenced in his work.

"Sound of Metal" on Amazon Prime Video

Led by Riz Ahmed — who earned a 2021 Golden Globe nod for best actor in a drama film for his starring performance — "Sound of Metal" tells the tragic story of a drummer who begins to lose his hearing. The film, which debuted in November 2020, earned immense critical praise — it was recognized as one of the 10 best films of 2020 by the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute.

"Ratched" on Netflix

Set in the late 1940s, Ryan Murphy's "Ratched" follows Mildred Ratched, a nurse at a psychiatric hospital who begins to manipulate the mental health care system and the vulnerable minds within her care. Sarah Paulson earned a Globe nod for best performance by an actress in a TV drama for her titular portrayal.

"The Mandalorian" on Disney+

Disney+'s "The Mandalorian" starring Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers and more follows an isolated gunfighter as he ventures throughout the outer galaxies, separate from the New Republic. The beloved show earned a 2021 Golden Globe Award nomination for best TV drama series.
