Scott Disick is on a mission to win Kourtney Kardashian back
Is there a Take 2 on the horizon for Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick? According to Us Weekly, Scott's No. 1 priority is earning Kourtney's love right now. "[Scott] is on a mission to win Kourtney back for good," says a source, pointing out that Scott "has really cleaned up his act … and Kourtney is very encouraged to see how much he has been trying." The couple split more than a year ago amid rumors Scott had cheated. He subsequently entered rehab in an effort "to show Kourtney he's willing to change," according to the insider. These days, the source continues, "he's in better health and better spirits" and "has majorly cut back on his drinking." A friend of Kourtney's points out that the reality star asked her ex to stop hosting so many late-night club gigs, where drugs and alcohol were hard to avoid. He followed her advice and has reportedly been flipping houses for income. "I'm trying to make money during the day," he told Us in September, "and not at night."

Why Leah Remini wants $1.5M from the church of Scientology
Leah Remini's battle with the Church of Scientology continues. With her new series, "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath" airing next week, the actress has been vocal about her reasons for leaving the church and speaking out about why she believes it's pernicious. But she's not waging war on Scientology on TV alone. According to Underground Bunker (via the New York Post), Leah's lawyer has demanded $1.5 million from the church due to claims it contacted A&E and ABC in an attempt to get Leah's series axed. The Post reports a letter from the church called Leah a "spoiled, entitled diva" and a "has-been actress," among other things, sparking Leah's lawyer to ask for "compensation for the past, present and ongoing reputational, emotional and economic injuries and damages [the actress has] suffered." A statement from the church responded by calling the $1.5 million demand "a provocative ploy to generate publicity for what will no doubt be another failed program by a failed 'celebrity' seeking to make a buck off of her former religion."

"You were engaged and you were trying on wedding dresses in the docu-series. We see the behind the scenes of that, which is pretty personal. And now, you're not together anymore," Ellen said (via E! News). "Now it's a whole friggin' thing," Mariah responded. Pressed to open up further, Mariah said, "I think I'm doing well," asking "How are you?" "I'm great," said Ellen. "I'm great." Beyonce, Jay Z moved to LA for Blue Ivy
Beyonce and Jay Z still have homes in New York and New Orleans, but they're happily living in Los Angeles these days so that their daughter can attend a great school. Insiders tell Us Weekly the 4-year-old is currently enrolled in a private, $19,000-a-year program, adding that Bey and Jay are very hands-on when it comes to PTA meetings and dropping Blue off and picking her up. There was another factor in the couple's decision to move to the West Coast, too. Gabrielle Union: Speaking out about racial inequality is 'tiring,' 'all-enc
The release of "Birth of a Nation" has given Gabrielle Union a major platform from which to address issues including racism and sexual assault. In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, the actress says she's spoken with people including Kate Upton, Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer about the "white girl privilege" she wants them to comprehend that they have before they make public statements like Kate's declaration that Colin Kapernick is wrong to kneel during the national anthem in protest of police brutality. Gabrielle says her goal has been to "help to explain the oppressive systems that have benefited and allowed them to say these careless, insensitive and offensive things." Ultimately, she says "that sense of being hyper-visible or invisible on sets" as a black woman is exhausting. "When do you stand up and point out every micro-aggression, and when do you stand down so you're not the angry black person all the time? It's tiring," says the actress. "It feels like another job that you're not getting paid for — that is all-encompassing."
Kathy Griffin won't be tweaking her face again anytime soon
Kathy Griffin has learned from her plastic surgery experience — and she's not looking back. "First of all, I guess the sort of news flash is, I truly have not done any Botox or anything for years," she tells Style Code Live (via Celebuzz). "The funny thing is in 2000, I got a full face lift, the whole thing, but, I just, I'm not on a high horse, I just stopped doing it because I think when I was doing all of that stuff I really thought I would just turn into Scarlett Johansson or Emma Stone, it turns out I'm stuck being Kathy Griffin."
Billy Joel was behind Bruce Springsteen's recent motorcycle bust
That time Billy Joel built a motorcycle for Bruce Springsteen — that left him stuck, roadside, in North Jersey … At his concert in New York this week, Billy performed Bruce's hit, "Born to Run." After singing the classic tune, he told the crowd he'd heard Bruce had broken down in Freehold, New Jersey, before a bike gang found him and ushered him to the safety of a nearby bar, according to the New York Post. Billy called Bruce when he heard the news, asking if the bike that got busted was the one he'd built for the singer at 20th Century Cycles in Oyster Bay, LI. Bruce confirmed that it was. Said Billy: "No good deed goes unpunished."
