They might have crowns, fancy jewels and titles, but deep down, the royals are just like the rest of us. Not convinced? Wonderwall.com is rounding up all the times our favorite royal family members have ended up in totally normal situations. First up? Even royals have to eat! Queen Elizabeth II might have looked out of place, but she perused the aisles like a champ at a Waitrose supermarket during a visit to Poundbury, England, in October 2016. "Livin' On A Prayer" is a great song — so when Jon Bon Jovi takes the microphone to sing it alongside Taylor Swift, royals want in on the action too! That's exactly what happened at the Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace in London in November 2013 when Prince William showed off his karaoke skills alongside two music legends.

Prince Harry can pitch pretty well! OK, fine, so maybe he was on hand at Citi Field to throw out the first ball ahead of a New York Mets game in 2010 — an honor typically reserved for famous faces — but it was still nice to see the prince getting in on the fun of America's favorite pastime!
We feel you, Camilla! The Duchess of Cornwall dug into an ice cream cone in March 2012 and was even caught with ice cream on her nose by shutterbugs after this delicious bite.
Even royals love Harry Potter! Duchess Kate and Prince William showed off their wand skills at the inauguration of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in London. We wonder which houses they'd be assigned!
Prince Harry in a school play? Yep, that happened when the royal was at Eton College and appeared in a production of "Much Ado About Nothing" back in March 2003.
Duchess Kate tried her hand at soccer — or rather, football in her neck of the woods — while spending time at Windsor Park Stadium in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in February 2019.
Duchess Meghan made headlines for shutting her own door — something most of us do on a daily basis — when she attended her first official solo engagement as the Duchess of Sussex in September 2018.
Royal children aren't immune to the powers of a good balloon animal. While Prince William and Duchess Kate were on their royal tour of Canada in September 2016, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were sucked in by the balloon animals at a children's party for military families in Victoria.
Even Prince Charles has been known to shoot a few hoops. The future king shot a basketball while spending time at the Harlem Children's Zone in New York City in January 2007.
No need for chauffeurs! Queen Elizabeth II is often caught driving herself around in her Range Rover, like this time in Scotland in September 2018.
Every now and then, even a royal gets his hands dirty. Such was the case in March 2016 when Prince Harry got hands-on clearing wood for a solar farm site on a trip to Nepal.
We know a lot of ladies can relate to this moment: In March 2013, Duchess Kate got her heel stuck in a grate during a St. Patrick's Day Parade in Aldershot, England.
Ever yawned at an inopportune moment? Royals have been there too! Check out Prince Philip stifling a yawn while attending an event in Braemar, Scotland, in September 2015.
Even a future king can get in on some wall-climbing fun! Prince Charles climbed the traversing wall at a gym at Grainville Secondary School in Saint Helier on Jersey in the Channel Islands in July 2012 — in a suit, we might add!
A prince cleaning the kitchen? It happens! During Prince Harry's time in Afghanistan, a photographer got a shot of the royal cleaning the kitchen worktop during his 12-hour VHR (very high ready-ness) shift in October 2012.
Snowball fight! Duchess Kate and Prince William couldn't help but get in on the snowy fun while skiing in the French Alps in March 2016.
Think a royal can't chug champagne? Think again! Princess Charlene of Monaco proved she could party like the rest of us during the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix at Circuit de Monaco in Monte-Carlo in May 2018.
No one can resist the foam finger! Duchess Kate donned a blue one while cheering on runners during the London Marathon in April 2017.

Back in 2005, Prince William played some rugby during a training session with some of the British and Irish Lions in Wellington, New Zealand, that July.
Kids will be kids! Prince George played on his rocking horse like any other tot, even while his father, Prince William, spent time speaking to U.S. President Barack Obama in April 2016.
