Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebrities who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in early December 2018, starting with our favorite newlyweds: Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in front of 225 guests in a Christian ceremony officiated by the groom's father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, on Dec. 1, just four months after they got engaged following a whirlwind courtship of just a few months. The following day, the duo married for a second time in a traditional Hindu ceremony. The bride (decked out in a gown with a 75-foot veil) and groom, as well as their families and members of the bridal party, donned Ralph Lauren for the Western nuptials, which followed a week of pre-wedding events including a Puja ceremony, a welcome dinner, a co-ed Hindu Mehendi ceremony (during which Priyanka's hands and feet were decorated with henna tattoos) and a Sangeet (during which family and friends performed elaborate song and dance routines). Following the Hindu wedding ceremony, the newlyweds jetted off to New Delhi, where they hosted a reception for dignitaries including Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, at the Taj Palace Hotel. Now keep reading for more of the week's biggest celeb love life updates…

In other Jonas nuptial news… Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner will tie the knot in France in the summer of 2019, Us Weekly confirmed on Nov. 30 after life coach Mike Bayer, who's worked with the actress, accidentally spilled the beans on Instagram on Nov. 24. The writer and life coach, who's also worked with Demi Lovato, posted a since-deleted video of what appears to be a wedding invitation: a box about the size of a bottle of wine with the words "Sophie and Joe 2019 France" scrawled across the top in gold lettering.

Chloe Moretz packed on the PDA following a dinner date with model Kate Harrison at Nobu in Malibu on Dec. 3. In photos published by TMZ, the pair can be seen walking with their arms around each other and kissing after stopping by a nearby Soho House. According to the webloid, the duo are also sharing a rental property in Los Angeles, so as they point out, "it's possible this is more than just a holiday season hookup."
On Dec. 4, Cardi B took to Instagram to announce that she and Offset have called it quits after 14 months of marriage and a daughter together. "So everybody been bugging me and everything and, you know, I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now," she said. "We're really good friends and we're really good business partners — and you know, he's always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other. But things just haven't been working out between us for a long time. And it's nobody's fault. It's just like, I guess we just grew out of love. But we're not together anymore. I don't know, it might take time to get a divorce, and I'm going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father." The "Bodak Yellow" rapper captioned the video, "There you go..peace and love." Offset, meanwhile, wrote in the comments, "Ya'll won." But that's not where the story ends…
On Dec. 5, TMZ reported that Cardi B and Offset called it quits over leaked text messages from late June (just a couple weeks before they welcomed their daughter) in which he purportedly asks a woman named Summer Bunni to set up a threesome between him, her and rapper Cuban Doll. (According to TMZ, the texts were leaked by another woman after she had a falling out with Cuban.) Summer confirmed the rumors that she had an affair with the Migos rapper by posting an apology of sorts on her Instagram page: "I will always be woman enough to admit when I'm wrong, and in this situation I was," she wrote in part. "Seeing another woman's pain does not bring me any joy, nor do I [think] it's funny. I've always been for women supporting each other but in this situation not only myself but others have failed." Summer then spoke out in a tearful Instagram Live video expressing regret for breaking up Cardi and Offset's family, saying that she didn't realize there was genuine love between them and that she hopes they reconcile for the sake of their daughter. "I hope this doesn't affect Cardi B emotionally because I can only imagine having love for somebody and you go through stuff," she said. "And also to Offset, I can imagine making mistakes. You have to face it. … I just hope they can work this through and they can find their love for each other." But that wasn't the end of Summer Bunni, who also released a video to TMZ saying that she hasn't hooked up with Offset since Cardi gave birth to their baby girl. "I didn't know how serious this marriage was," she said. "A lot of girls would just deal with this situation and just be like, 'Yo, I took Cardi B's [man],' or 'I'm the reason that they're getting a divorce,'" she continued, adding that she feels "ashamed" and that it wasn't her intention to break up a marriage. "I never wanted to break up a happy home or be the cause of someone … to get a divorce," she said. Summer went on to say that she hasn't spoken to Cardi but "would like her to know that I'm a very genuine person and I'm not here to break up a family or mess up what she has going on with her husband." Continued the 20-year-old Instagram model, "I'm very sorry that this has happened, and I'm very sorry that I didn't think about my worth as a young lady. I just hope that she can overcome this. I know that her and Offset actually do have love for each other. I can tell. So I just hope with this she can actually just focus on her love for Offset." The hip-hop power couple have weathered cheating scandals in the past. On Oct. 1, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly ordering an attack on two sisters because she was under the impression that one of them slept with Offset.
In early December, a wannabe YouTube star looking to make a name for himself distributed a doctored image of a man who looks an awful lot like Travis Scott (it turned out to be the YouTuber) canoodling with a woman who definitely isn't Kylie Jenner to various media outlets as part of an elaborate prank. (See the photo here.) The image sparked rumors that the rapper had been unfaithful, which he denied in the comments section of an Instagram post: "Trolls working hard today," he wrote after a few expletives. "I don't be on balcony wit no thots. That s— lame. Try again you trollsssss. Me and my wifey sturdy." He then reportedly left a second comment: "Only got love for my wife. No time to be wasting. Try again." On Dec. 3, Travis echoed his previous comments on his Instagram Story, writing, "Trolls always wanna create some fake s— to destroy real love." That same day, Kylie took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of herself and her beau sharing a tender moment — with the diamond engagement ring emoji hovering over their heads. The post — along with the couple's tendency to refer to each other as "wifey" and "hubby" — sparked speculation that the pair may have gotten engaged or secretly tied the knot, though multiple media outlets have denied those rumors. As for the wannabe YouTube star, Kylie took to her Instagram Story to gripe in a since-deleted post, "Idk if this is really a social experiment to some people but you're messing with real people, real relationships, real family. I'm happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. The internet scares me sometimes for real." Sisters Kim Kardashian West and Khloe Kardashian shared similar sentiments on Twitter.
Malin Akerman and British actor Jack Donnelly kicked off their shoes to tie the knot on the beach in Tulum, Mexico, on Dec. 1. "I feel so lucky that I got to marry my best friend #JackDonnelly!!! Thank you to our family and friends for making this weekend so fun and magical!" the actress captioned a photo of their nuptials, during which she wore a custom pink Cushnie slip dress (and no shoes!), on Instagram. Carla Gugino, Michelle Monaghan and Rob Thomas — who, according to Vogue, performed a late-night jam session during the reception — were on hand for the ceremony.
Pete Davidson is "dating again" following his October breakup from Ariana Grande, a source told E! News as part of a Dec. 3 report. Meanwhile, the singer-actress revealed in a behind-the-scenes feature about the making of her "thank u, next" music video that hit the Internet on Dec. 2 that she covered up one of her tattoos dedicated to Pete — the number "8418," a tribute to the comedian's late father, firefighter Scott Davidson — with a tribute to another ex, Mac Miller: the name of the late raper's pitbull pup, Myron. (There has been speculation that Ariana adopted the pooch following Mac's death.)
Jenna Dewan and her new boyfriend, Steve Kazee, are now Instagram official. The Broadway actor took to Instagram on Dec. 3 to wish the dancer-actress a happy 38th birthday in the caption of a shot of four photo-booth pictures of them together. "Happy Birthday Jenna! Somehow it feels like my birthday over and over again because I keep getting the gift of you every day," he wrote. Steve, meanwhile, has yet to make an appearance on Jenna's Instagram, though he left a super-sweet comment on a promotional photo for her Danskin collection that she posted on Nov. 17. "Have you found your favorite yet?? #jennadewanxdanskin," she wrote in the caption. "Yes. I have," commented the actor. Aww!
Kendall Jenner has become a fixture at Philadelphia 76ers basketball games since she and Ben Simmons reconciled in early November. She was photographed sitting courtside on Nov. 23 (pictured), Nov. 30 and Dec. 2. During the Nov. 30 game, the model sat next to her beau's mother, Julie Simmons, with whom she was seen laughing and smiling. "When she's not working, she's been focusing her free time on Ben and flying to Philadelphia," a source told People magazine as part of a Dec. 3 report. "They're still not exclusive though," added the insider. As for the other man the reality star reportedly romanced this year, "Kendall was spending time with Anwar [Hadid], but that ended and she started hanging out with Ben again. She hasn't seen Anwar recently," said the source.
Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett's marriage isn't officially over yet after all. On Nov. 28, the court rejected the duo's final divorce settlement, which they filed on Oct. 29, seven months after they called it quits following nearly a decade of marriage. According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, the former couple entered the wrong jurisdiction date on their divorce paperwork and forgot to check a box on another document. On Nov. 26, the reality star took to Instagram to describe the joys of single life: "Been dating myself lately. Getting to know myself and even falling in love. Love and happiness is real without waiting on someone or something to do it for you. Been taking a lot of patience, empathy, and discipline," she captioned a sun-kissed selfie.
During a Nov. 29 appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," Megan Fox finally confirmed Shia LaBeouf's previous claims that they were romantic while shooting the 2007 blockbuster "Transformers." Said the actress, "I mean, I would confirm that it was romantic. I love him. I've never been, like, really quiet about that. I love him." She then confirmed that, in Andy's words, "It was an on-set romance that didn't go anywhere afterwards." She also dished on the craziest thing she's ever done while fighting with husband Brian Austin Green: "One time I got really angry at him, and I wrote in Sharpie marker a bunch of Nietzsche poems all over his walls, so he had to live with that," she said.
On the Dec. 3 episode of "The Tonight Show" — while playing a game that required him to say whether or not he's ever had a co-star whom he thought he could've dated but didn't — Jimmy Fallon revealed that he once tried to woo Kate Hudson (only to be placed firmly in the friend zone) around the time they both appeared in "Almost Famous." According to the comedian, he and the actress "hung out and were friends." Said Jimmy, "I thought — I don't know — maybe there could be something. She's cool and we got along. We were, like, super-good friends." One night they went to see the comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall together. During their night out, they met The Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson for the first time. The next night, Kate asked Jimmy if she could borrow some of his Black Crowes CDs before they went ice-skating together in Central Park. After they "skated maybe three or four times around the rink," she ducked out early to go on a date with Chris, whom she married just months later. "She had no intention [of dating me] or anything," Jimmy acknowledged through laughs.
In other "what could've been" news… During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that hit the Internet on Dec. 3, Melanie Griffith revealed that she wanted to date Alec Baldwin when they co-starred in 1988's "Working Girl." Said the actress, "Alec Baldwin is handsome and charming, and I just had such a crush on him. But he wouldn't go there with me. I was like, 'Oh come on, have a romance with me!' But no, Alec said, 'I can't do this with people I work with.' He's a sweetheart. But then [director] Mike [Nichols] came to me one day and said that there was this investment banker, a young guy named Liam Dalton, who he wanted me to work with, to teach me about mergers and acquisitions. I was like, 'Oh great, I have to work with some dork from Wall Street.' And then this guy walked in, and he was so gorgeous, so sexy. I was like, 'Yeah, tell me about mergers and acquisitions all you want.' We had an incredible romance. He was my love for a long time after that too. We're still friends. He lives in New York, is married and has four kids. He actually managed some money for me for a while. Mike knew about it and thought it was great, but he wanted me to make sure I concentrated on the job."
On the Dec. 4 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres show," Gwen Stefani shot down rumors that she and Blake Shelton are engaged. After Ellen joked that Blake told her they're set to wed, the No Doubt front-woman said through laughs, "No, he didn't. No, we're not. No, we're not. No, we're not." Continued Gwen, "What are you talking about? We're not. We're not engaged, and we're not married. And he's my boyfriend. Still." After Ellen asked when they're getting engaged, the singer replied that she doesn't know. "Every time I come on here, I think it's gonna be like, 'I got this.' But I don't. I don't," Gwen said of Ellen's tricks. "But I do like talking about him. He's awesome. And we got to do a video together. See how I did that? Changed it to something that would benefit me?" (The couple co-starred in the music video for their new holiday song "You Make It Feel Like Christmas.") During another point in the interview, Gwen told Ellen that she thought Blake got sexier after he handed over the Sexiest Man Alive title to Idris Elba. The comedian then asked Gwen if she thought her beau got better in bed after he was named Sexiest Man Alive. The question prompted an unfortunate play on words from Gwen: "Oh my God! I feel like she needs to try to take it to the next level every time I come with Blake," she said before gasping and throwing up a hand to cover her mouth. "Oh my God. I can't believe I just said that. That was so crazy," she continued as Ellen feigned innocence.
Ellen DeGeneres tried the same trick with Jennifer Lopez on the Nov. 29 episode of her daytime talk show, telling the singer-actress that her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, texted to say they were getting married. "He did not say that. He did not say that," fired back Jennifer. So when are they getting married? "I don't know," she replied through laughs, prompting Ellen to ask if they're happy together. "We are," she replied. "We've been together a couple years. It's nice."
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk tied the knot in late September, but they still don't live together — and they won't anytime soon, the actress said during an interview with WSJ. magazine that hit the Internet on Dec. 4, explaining that the major hurdle to cohabitation is her two kids with ex-husband Chris Martin and Brad's two kids from his first marriage. "We are still doing it in our own way. With teenage kids, you've got to tread lightly. It's pretty intense, the teenage thing," said Gwyneth. "I've never been a stepmother before. I don't know how to do it." As for married life, "It's fantastic," said the Oscar winner. "I feel like we are probably better equipped to choose our life partner when we are halfway through life. But generally we have to pick our spouses a lot earlier because of the whole procreation piece. … For me it has been more of a process, and so I feel really lucky to have met this person who is an incredible, true partner."
"UnREAL" actor Josh Kelly and "One Tree Hill" alum Bethany Joy Lenz have ben quietly dating for months, Us Weekly reported after spotting the duo together at the Make Equality Reality Gala in Los Angeles on Dec. 3.
On Nov. 29, Gregg Leakes took to Instagram to share his thoughts on what it means to be "a real man" in honor of "Brother's Day." In the process, he drew the ire of wife NeNe Leakes, who commented, "Well u need to do everything you posted! Practice what you preach … You need to pray for yourself! This mean, grouchy, evil stuff u pulling these days are NOT cool." NeNe then took her criticism of Gregg, who's currently battling Stage 3 colon cancer, to Twitter: "I would just think 🤔 if i have or had cancer, i would see life so differently! Not being mean, grouchy and evil for no real reason! But that's me. Pray for me," she tweeted. Since then, things between the reality stars have apparently improved. On Dec. 1, Gregg posted a photo of his missus on Instagram along with a lengthy caption praising her for putting "a mountain on her back" and carrying it with "grace." Wrote Gregg, "She's given so much of herself. You Nene, steps up to the plate, bats and knock it out the park every time. Something aa lot of women can't do or wouldn't. So what she hit a wall and her cup run over! Pray for her, encourage her, lift her up."
It's only been two weeks since the news broke that Paris Hilton called off her engagement of less than a year to Chris Zylka, but media outlets are already asking the heiress if she's ready to date again. "I am busy being a boss-babe, running an empire. That is all I have time for," she told E! News on Nov. 28. "I barely have time for myself, let alone anything else. … I am not even thinking about [dating] right now. I am literally so busy. … I hardly have time to see my own family, let alone do that." As for her advice to anyone struggling with being single during the holidays, "I am so happy. I just love my life," Paris said. "My advice is to always be happy and feel good about yourself — because life is truly too short."
On Dec. 1, Ellen DeGeneres celebrated the 15th anniversary of her first date with wife Portia de Rossi by booking a plane to fly past their beachfront home trailing a banner featuring a heart and the number 15. Unfortunately for the pair, who tied the knot in 2008, the sign was too small for them to see. "Portia and I started dating 15 years ago today. I hired a plane to fly by the house with a banner that said 15 with a heart. I should have specified the size," Ellen captioned a video of the fly-by on Instagram. Portia, meanwhile, shared the same video with a hilarious caption of her own: "My wife surprised me with this for our 15th anniversary. Sometimes bigger is better…."
On Nov. 28, Aleece Dimas Commerford filed documents in Los Angeles to end her marriage of nearly two decades to Rage Against the Machine bassist Tim Commerford. According to The Blast, she listed their date of separation as Nov. 27 and requested spousal support, as well as sole physical custody of their two sons. Two days later, the rocker released a statement about the breakup to multiple media outlets, including Wonderwall.com: "After 17 years of marriage to Aleece Dimas, I am saddened to announce our divorce," he wrote. "This decision was made after much careful thought and consideration. I want to send my deepest appreciation to my family and friends who have supported us through these changes. We remain committed and loving parents to our two boys. Our family asks in advance for your kindness and sensitivity at this difficult time." Later that day, The Blast reported that Tim was granted a restraining order against his estranged missus after she attempted to illegally gain access into a home where he was staying by ramming a car into the garage door. He alleges that she then "viciously assaulted" him with her iPhone and fists. (Tim provided photos of his bloodied face as evidence in his court filing.)
Page Six reported on Nov. 29 that Tiffany Trump is dating Michael Boulos, who lives in London but grew up in Lagos — "where his well-connected family owns a multibillion-dollar conglomerate that trades in vehicles, equipment, retail and construction," according to the outlet. The duo reportedly met while vacationing in Mykonos over the summer, and things are getting serious: According to Page Six, Michael joined the Trump family at Mar-a-Lago for Thanksgiving. "Tiffany is happy she has so far been able to keep things with Michael under the radar. But she introduced him to her family at Thanksgiving, and he comes across as a very intelligent young man from a great family," said a source.
