Why does Ariana Grande have a crib in her room?!
"WHAT ARE YOU COOKING IN THE CRIB." So said Katy Perry on Instagram on Thursday, Oct. 4, after noticing bride-to-be Ariana Grande had casually posted a selfie with a large crib behind her. "Why is there a baby crib in the back tho?" asked another fan as the Interwebs went collectively bananas (via Cosmopolitan). Ariana coyly replied: "My secret child, duh." The singer's fans continued to demand more information about what looked like a hint that Ariana and her fiancé, Pete Davidson, are expecting a child — until she finally weighed with an explanation. The couple has a baby pig they keep as a pet. "That's Piggy Smalls' play pen in the background," she posted, adding that the red lamp is to keep the li'l piglet warm. For the record, Cosmo tells us there is no secret child … other than the pig.

Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy hit the 'First Man' red carpet in matching marigold
The stylist handling the "First Man" press tour deserves a raise — stat. When Ryan Gosling and and his co-star, Claire Foy, hit the red carpet at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, Oct. 4, for the premiere of their film about the first mission to the moon via Neil and Janet Armstrong, they couldn't have looked more united, style-wise. According to Vogue, Claire's gorgeous, orangey-yellow chiffon gown came courtesy of Oscar de la Renta, while Ryan wore an emerald, single-breasted Gucci suit over his perfectly matched — and perfectly '60s — yellow and marigold collared shirt. Vogue notes that marigold is the "season's statement color."
Christina Aguilera felt 'left out' of Madonna's 2003 MTV VMA Britney Spears kiss
Most music fans recall that infamous moment during the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards when Madonna planted an open-mouthed kiss on Britney Spears' lips when the two performed alongside Christina Aguilera. What some folks don't realize is that Madge actually kissed both Britney and Christina. The cameras didn't show Christina's smooch, though — a situation she rehashed on the Thursday, Oct. 4 edition of Andy Cohen's SiriusXM Radio show. "It was weird," Christina admitted (via the Daily Mail). "And you know why they cut away for it? Because they cut away to get Justin [Timberlake's] reaction." Although Christina and Britney — and Justin, for that matter — were all in the Mickey Mouse Club as kids, JT and Britney had recently broken up in 2003, sparking the camera directors to veer away from the stage and show Justin's (admittedly sullen looking) response to the kiss. "I don't think people actually totally realize that she [Madonna] made out with both of you that day," Andy said at one point on his show. "Yeah, because I definitely saw the newspaper the next day and it was like, 'Oh, well, I guess I got left out of that,'" Christina recalled. In the end, Christina — who said it would be "really fun" to catch up with her former Mouseketeer pals "after all these years" — didn't mind giving Britney the attention. "She could have the kiss," Christina said. "It's OK."
Michael Buble gets emotional recounting son's harrowing battle with liver cancer
Michael Buble is back onstage and getting ready to release a new album next month after he and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, tackled the most difficult challenge they ever imagined facing. Their eldest son, Noah, was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016. "It sucks. It still sucks," the 43-year-old singer said on Australia's "Today Show" (via Page Six) this week. "What we went through was the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent, and as maybe a human being. I much rather would have it have been me. Many times I wish that it had been." As his eyes welled up, Michael said he and Luisana often "wished we didn't wake up" during the time when Noah was undergoing testing and treatment. Ultimately, though, he said he's seeing life in a new way because of Noah's battle. "I've been through a lot," Michael said. "One of the things about going through something that my family has been through is that it gives you great perspective and one of those points of perceptive is that it really shows you to appreciate the good things." Michael's first performance since he and Luisana put their work on hold in 2016 was an emotional but well received show in London in July. His new album, "Love (Deluxe Edition)," is due out Nov. 16.
Hilaria Baldwin and Alec Baldwin's 4-month-old hits the carpet
Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin's 5-year-old daughter, Carmen, is just the right age for kindergarten, but that's not who they brought to the Hamptons Film Festival screening of "The Kindergarten Teacher" in New York this week. Riding shotgun against his mom's chest as she and Alec hit the red carpet was the couple's newest addition, 4-month-old Romeo. Alec, who's on the board of the festival, has been getting plenty of experience in the fatherhood department since he and Hilaria fell in love. In addition to Romeo, the two are parents to Carmen, 5, Rafael, 3, and Leonardo, 2. Alec also shared a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, with his ex, Kim Basinger. "Being a father can be very challenging because kids are obsessed with their mothers," he told People in January. "I'm in a room with my kids and I'm doing really well until my wife walks in! They just dump me. That's just how it is — there's nothing I can do about it." That reality led him to one tip for other fathers: "My advice for new dads," he offered, "… If your wife is a great mommy, appreciate that and enjoy that. That's a great thing to have."
Offset tricks Cardi B into thinking he's ill in order to give her an outrageous gift
Cardi B had nearly lost it on Friday, Oct. 5, when she changed her plan to go to Los Angeles and instead raced to Atlanta to see her husband, Offset, after hearing he'd fainted. As it turns out, there was no fainting. There was, however, a brand new Lamborghini waiting for Cardi when she got to the ATL."You all don't even know how I feel, y'all, … 'cause I've been praying for the last two hours to every goddamn religion that there is like 'God, I hope this n—– is OK,'" she said in an Instagram post (via E! News). Apparently, Cardi had assumed the worst. "Why nobody answering my calls, acting funny?" she was left wondering. In the video clip, she went on to say, "I don't want to raise my baby by myself. Jesus Christ, I hope everything is OK." Enter the new wheels. "I'm so happy," she gushed, telling Offset, "Babe, I love you," in the clip. After giving him a kiss, she gave him a warning. "I'm happy and mad at the same time," she wrote in the post. "I been crying and praying for like 2 hours. I love you babe. Thanks for the gift. Please don't scare me again you know I suffer from anxiety. LAMBTRUCK." In another clip, the rapper squealed, checking out her new ride. "Look! Look what I got here. I'm so happy!" She then added one key point: "Damn! Now, I'm really going to have to learn how to drive." Um. Yes, please.
NYPD failed to disclose challenge to Harvey Weinstein accuser's story
Lest we forget that the man whose sexual misconduct scandal sparked the #MeToo movement is still fighting to avoid a slew of charges in court these days, Page Six reports Harvey Weinstein got a small win this week in his sex assault case in New York City. It seems the lead investigator for the NYPD did not share witness testimony that runs counter to Lucia Evans' claim that the former producer forced her to perform oral sex on him in his office in 2004. The Manhattan District Attorney's office has reportedly discovered a casting director told the investigator that in Evans' original account of what happened with Weinstein, she said she fooled around with Weinstein in order to get an acting job. The NYPD told Page Six in a statement that it "remains fully confident in the overall case it has pursued against Mr. Weinstein." A spokesman for the police added: "The evidence shows that the criminal case against him is strong. The NYPD will continue to assist the prosecution any way it can to ensure justice is achieved for these brave survivors." Like the other allegations against him, Weinstein has denied Evans' claims.
Adele made more than $30k a day last year without touring or releasing new music
If her track record is any indication, Santa's likely to be good to Adele come Christmas 2019. That's when her first new album in three years is expected to be released. The Sun reports that even without having toured or unveiled new music last year, the singer still made more than $11.2 million in profits after taxes in 2017. That works out to a cool $31,320 a day — not a bad take-home amount for chilling at home with her 6-year-old son (and rocking out to Beyonce) while album sales and royalties do the rest! In June, The Sun reported Adele planned to spend most of the summer in the U.K. working on new music. And while her first three albums were all named in honor of meaningful age milestones, she told James Corden in 2016 that "25" would be the last album named after an age. "I believe in trilogies, yeah," she said at the time. "The next one is just gonna be 'Adele.'"
Chance the Rapper announces mental health support initiative for Chicago
Chance the Rapper to the rescue again. The Chicago devotee announced this week plans to donate $1 million towards a variety of mental health services in a campaign called My State of Mind, according to Page Six. The news came during his Social Works summit on Thursday, Oct. 4. "We need a new space to get information on how they feel and where they can go," Chance said of Chicagoans struggling with mental health issues. He intends to funnel $100,000 grants to each of six mental health providers in the region as a first step. He also said he planned to donate more to the Chicago Public School system, which has already received at least $1 million from the rapper for arts education. "This year, 20 more schools will get $100K," he promised. "We will be upping the game in terms of equity, in terms of what is rightfully yours. Principals, teachers, we got your back."
Laverne Cox and Kyle Draper are 'so happy' and in love
Laverne Cox and her boyfriend of one year, Kyle Draper, have found "the real thing." That's according to an Us Weekly insider who says the two are "so happy together" since meeting through mutual friends. Case in point? On Wednesday. Oct. 3, Laverne shared a sweet photo of her kissing her love alongside the caption, "Happy #nationalboyfriendday babe." It wasn't the first time the "Orange Is the New Black" star gushed about Kyle recently. This spring, Laverne admitted to "Access Hollywood" that she was "in love," telling a reporter how everything seems to be clicking now that she's found him. "It's, like, love is so incredibly healing. I'm just so happy. When you're happy, you kind of want to, like — love is life-saving," she mused. "Everybody gets along. His family's amazing. My mom likes him. It's good." Prior to her relationship with Kyle, Laverne was all about online dating, telling "Access" she was "a Tinder girl" and had gone back to the app after breaking up with her last boyfriend. "You have to be on the apps to be in the game. You have to take the risk. I'm really good at screening. I've been Internet dating for a very long time," she said. She's learned a few things from the experience, too. "If I was coming from an event and I already had makeup on, great. But I'm not putting effort into a guy that I don't know yet," she said. "You might not look like your pictures, you might smell. My current boyfriend, I showed up on the date with no makeup, had some jean shorts and it worked out." Kyle, who works in real estate in Los Angeles, seems to be on exactly the same page. "I am so grateful for this beautiful woman and the experiences we get to share together," he wrote about Laverne on Instagram last month. "This weekend was packed with back-to-back nights of #emmy parties and more unforgettable adventures with my amazing girlfriend."
