In the wake of Janet Jackson's tear-jerking performance of "What About," her song that tackles issues like domestic abuse and cheating, new details have surfaced regarding what caused her to split from Wissam Al Mana, her husband of five years and the father of her new son Eissa. According to E! News, the two struggled with cultural differences ranging from their religious beliefs to Janet's "free-spirited" nature and struggled to find common ground on those and other aspects of their lives. "Wissam is a very strong minded individual and can come across being hard headed and judgmental at times," a source tells E! "Janet started not to feel comfortable around her husband. While she was pregnant Wissam caused stress on Janet and it affected her stress level. They knew it was over before the baby was even born. Janet wanted to make it work but it could not be saved. She didn't tell many people about this toxic relationship till after. Her family was never a big fan of her husband. She lost confidence in herself along the way." The insider added that Janet has no regrets about the relationship, which for a time involved a "strong love" that produced a baby boy she loves dearly. "Janet feels like she has broken free from her old life and is slowly starting over," says the source. "Her baby has brought so many new beginnings and life back in Janet. She wants to connect with her fans again and make her concerts something that her fans will remember and love. Janet's confidence is back."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have already set up a nursery: Report

Although Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West have not yet confirmed news they're expecting a baby via surrogate early next year, the Kardashian-Jenner krewe can't wait to have a new addition. "Everyone in the family is so excited," a source tells Us Weekly, adding that Kim and Kanye have already set up a nursery. The insider says the couple really "wanted to give North a sister," but given her not-so-positive attitude about her little brother Saint, "they probably won't bring it up until closer to term" since North is having some issues sharing her attention with one sibling already. Kim, meanwhile, is looking forward to the advantage of not being scrutinized during a pregnancy, having said last year on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" how much she would love to welcome "a new baby and have no one know and live my life for a good year before we announce it." The reality star and mother of two had multiple complications with both of her pregnancies, including preeclampsia, which develops about 20 weeks into pregnancy and can have fatal results for both the mother and child.

'The Real Housewives of Orange County' were offered bonuses to play nice on social media

Can't we all just get along? Not when we're "The Real Housewives of Orange County," apparently. InTouch reports the stars have been so awful to one another on social media producers "asked them to refrain from attacking one another" online. "They were told that if they were able to control their posts, they'd receive a $30,000 bonus," claims an insider. Alas, $30 grand wasn't enough bait for at least three of the housewives. According to InTouch, Tamra Judge "lasted less than a week, Vicki Gunvalson "wasn't far behind" and Kelly Dodd's recent nastiness toward Tamra and Shannon Beador probably means she won't get a bonus, either. Says the source: "everyone thinks Shannon will be the next to lose her bonus because she has been losing her temper."

Jennifer Lawrence is less interested in becoming a mom than she used to be

Things may be getting serious for Jennifer Lawrence and her boyfriend, Darren Aronofksy, but don't expect to see her announce any baby news anytime soon. Asked if she was starting to have "pangs" craving motherhood now that she's 27, Jen told E! News she's found the opposite is true. "Not at all. They are actually getting less and less as I get older, which is starting to worry me. I don't think that's how it's supposed to work!" she quipped. "When I was 21 or 22 I was like, 'I can't wait to be a mother. Now I'm like …" Jen and Darren's relationship technically became public last fall when they were spotted kissing. Now that their film, "Mother!" is out, it's been harder to downplay, although press about the film has outshone talk of their romance. "I believed in the metaphor and the message that Darren wanted to get across," Jen says of the film. "When I first read the script I thought it's too dark. I didn't even want the script in my house and then I realized that's why he's a genius. That's why I have always wanted to work with him. He's unafraid. He's bold and I do agree with the message." Jen also opened up about being in the spotlight all the time. "Now I have an understanding. I have a patience with [fame]. But also I get time off from it. At first it was really overwhelming and I thought, 'Is this going to be the rest of my life?" she said. "When I am releasing a movie and it's really heavy and really intense and I just know that it will die down. People really stop caring pretty quickly." During the promotion-heavy times, though, she said she no longer Googles herself — at least she hasn't in the past four days. Hey, it's a start!

These days, "Suits" star Patrick J. Adams is happily off social media — thanks in part to his costar Meghan Markle. As he explains in the new issue of Esquire, he was already concerned he'd been "overthinking" his posts on Twitter and Instagram too much and worrying about how people would respond to them. Then, in honor of the 100th episode of their show, Patrick innocently shared a photo of him kissing Meghan on the cheek on set. It was taken years prior but Patrick, who's married to Troian Bellisario, wasn't thinking about certain outside forces, like the fact that Meghan's romance with Prince Harry happens to be one of the most discussed relationships on the planet. "I went to bed,and woke up in the morning and realized 'Oh, yeah. I live in a world where you can't post things about Meghan,'" he recalled. "I had this onslaught of people retweeting the thing, people thinking it was a recent picture, and I just thought, 'What the hell is going on?' It was such an innocent moment of sentimentality that was twisted into something totally different. It made me feel like … why put myself through this? We're like brother and sister, it's not like it was lurid or anything, but it just became a story that people wanted to talk about."

On Tuesday, Sept. 12, the film premiered at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown, Massachusetts, and Jeff joined Jake on the red carpet. According to a recent interview with the pair, they've become pals. "It's a movie about hope and about inspiring people to know that you might be in the darkest of times in your life — we all have somebody that we know or ourselves have struggled at some point," Jake told Variety recently. "Jeff's story lifts you up and shows that you can get through it."

Kesha's not the only one who wishes she'd never worked with producer Dr. Luke, whom she claims sexually assaulted her. Kelly Clarkson says she was pressured by Sony to work with him on "My Life Would Suck With You." Then, because she rearranged the song from the original that Dr. Luke wrote with two other songwriters, she was offered a shared credit and shared royalties she estimates could have been "hundreds of thousands of dollars — or millions." Speaking to Z100 (via Vulture), she explained: "Basically, they were gonna sit on my record unless I did what they wanted. I was so frustrated because I literally said, 'Anyone in the world but this one person. I will work with anyone you want to put in my path.'" She added, "It was just this one thing, and I asked not to work with Dr. Luke just because I had not a good experience with him." When it came to the song credits she recalled, "I was like, 'I don't want my name near his. I want to pretend this didn't happen in my life and I want to forget it.'" Kelly did not elaborate on what happened in her experience working with him. She did, however say, "I generally love everyone. You have to really be a special kind of … for me not to like you."

A month after they were accused of breach of contract by a pet rescue charity owner, Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd are facing a new lawsuit. This time, Yana Syrkin, the designer who created "luxury dog couture" line Fifi & Romeo, claims her business relationship with the couple went south after they allegedly ditched an agreement to work together and made off with Yana's ideas. "They took my designs, promised me a collaborative and lucrative business partnership, and then breached their side of all contracts and then disappeared and started their own line," the designer told the New York Post, adding that she's "anxious to have all of the facts come out in court." A rep for Lisa suggested it was inappropriate of Yana to sue in the wake of Harvey and Irma, telling the paper, "We are surprised by this lawsuit especially because of the timing with the catastrophes that are going on in Texas and Florida. Lisa, Ken and everyone on the team love Fifi & Romeo . . . We even collaborated with the owner . . . to design a line together called Fifi & Romeo for Vanderpump Pets." The rep admitted there have been "production delays" and said Lisa and Ken were "planning on releasing our luxury line with Fifi & Romeo for Vanderpump Pets for the Christmas season."

He admitted he was given "a degree" of advance warning she was including the story before telling the reporter that "with Carrie's untimely passing, I don't really feel that it's a subject that I want to discuss." He preferred not to answer whether he wished she hadn't read it, then, when asked if he read the book he said, "No. I didn't." After the actress and author's death last year, Harrison said in a statement, "Carrie was one-of-a-kind… brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life, bravely."
