Brad Pitt granted unsupervised overnight visits with kids: Report
Following months in which Brad Pitt was only allowed to visit with his six children under the supervision of a therapist, he is now able to have the kids stay with him overnight without a monitor, according to InTouch. The website reports Brad's divorce and custody battle with Angelina Jolie has turned in his favor months after Angelina reportedly alleged he was abusive toward one of their older children. An investigation found no evidence of abuse, although a source tells InTouch Maddox and Pax remain hesitant to go back to the way things were. "He's become a much more prominent figure in the kids' lives, and they seem to be doing a lot better now that things have calmed down," says the source. "He's recently had two different overnights with two kids without being monitored, and he's hoping to have them for at least a week at a time by the end of February or early March." As for Maddox and Pax, the insider says "Those relationships are still very tenuous, and Brad really has"t had a breakthrough with the boys yet."

Sofia Vergara wants court to block Nick Loeb from access to embryos
After years of fighting over embryos they created when they were together, Sofia Vergara is asking for legal help preventing her ex, Nick Loeb, from bringing the embryos to term without her consent. TMZ reports she recently filed documents stating Nick signed a contract that gave up his right to take over the frozen embryos should they break up. Yet he has tried to get control of them with a variety of legal moves since they called it quits. "She says Loeb voluntarily dismissed his case against her in December," the website reports.

Kate Upton changed her mindset for this year's SI cover
For her third "Sports Illustrated" Swimsuit Edition cover, Kate Upton was all about strength and health — not the pressure to conform to modeling industry body standards that she worried about more during her first appearances on the cover in 2012 and 2013. "This year, I had a completely different mindset about my body and instead of always trying to fit in a certain sample size, I wanted to be strong and healthy," she says (via E! News). "Changing my workout and focusing on weight training helped me do that. It helped me think about my body as a machine and less of something people can judge me on. People feel ashamed when they look bad one day, but it's OK not to love yourself every second of every day. Appreciate what your body can do."

The specific technical problems that prevented James Hetfield from accompanying Lady Gaga on vocals during their performance at the Grammys weren't evident to the band, according to Lars Ulrich. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight (via JustJared), the drummer explained: "In the heat of that moment, it's very difficult when you're aware of the fact that something's not functioning, [but] you don't know where in the chain of possible mishaps [it could be]. You don't know where that's going on, so you really don't have a choice other than to just keep battling on." He continued: It's live television. A couple of people were like, 'Why didn't you stop the song?' We didn't know there was a problem… you have no choice but to carry on. The ensuing chaos and energy and complete over-the-top excitement, it was absolutely awesome."
Staged fire turns real on set of new Hugh Jackman movie
When life imitated art on the set of Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron's new film, "The Greatest Showman," the results could have killed someone. While actors including Hugh were shooting the final scene of the film, which tells the story of Barnum and Bailey Circus' PT Barnum, a stunt fire turned into a real fire that sources say burned down an entire building at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York, according to the New York Post. There were reportedly no injuries, thanks, perhaps, to the retired firemen working as extras on the set who moved quickly to remedy the situation with prop hoses connected to actual hydrants when the blaze got out of control. The FDNY eventually put the fire out. A source cited "too much accelerant" as the reason for the accident.
Drew Barrymore nearly died on the set of 'The Santa Clarita Diet'
In similarly nerve-wracking on-set news … Drew Barrymore nearly died while filming the zombie series "The Santa Clarita Diet." The actress and the Netflix show's creator Victor Fresco recently told Us Weekly Drew had to jump on a guy's back and pretend to attack him during one flesh-eating scene. "He was a wide guy and Drew didn't get a great grip," Victor said. "Then he held onto her legs as she slipped off, and so she just pivoted down all the way and just hit her head. I thought, 'That's it. We've killed Drew Barrymore.'" Drew ended up in the hospital for two days as doctors took MRIs and CAT scans to make sure she hadn't suffered any permanent damage by hitting the concrete. "It was f—– terrifying," said Drew. "It was very serious. I've never had a feeling like that in my life … Coming back, it was scary. Everyone was really tense." They used the scene anyway and Drew ended up feeling extra close to the people she was working with. "I love that this group of people, who aren't family necessarily, are coming together and care about my well-being," she said. "It was a nice moment where you see the good in people."

Ali Fedotowsky is engaged to Kevin Manno with a new baby at home but she's not quite done talking about relationships. On Tuesday, Feb. 14, she made her first appearance as the host of a new series called "Love Buzz," on YouTube. Speaking to guests from "Married at First Sight" about the week's reality TV romance news, she suggested why breakups like the one she had with Roberto Martinez should be viewed in a positive light. "It's not necessarily a bad thing if a couple decides to go different ways," she said, according to Us Weekly. "It could be the best thing for them. [About] 'The Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette,' people are always like, 'Oh, your relationship from 'The Bachelor' didn't work out — it was a failed relationship.' And I said, 'Actually, I think it was the most successful relationship of my life because I learned so much about myself. We actually ended up splitting ways because we weren't right for each other. You're not right for someone, and you split ways — isn't that a success? Yeah, I believe it is. What the real failure is, and the real sad thing, would be to stay with someone you're not meant for, you're not right for, and be miserable."
Amanda Bynes denies she's pregnant, engaged
A Twitter account claiming to be "Ashley Banks" posted repeated intimations the person behind it is actually Amanda Bynes. The tweets also suggested Amanda is pregnant and engaged — and scared of being committed … and no longer sees herself as Amanda, among other bizarre statements. "I am not @persianla27," Amanda tweeted (via E! News) on Tuesday, Feb. 14, ending a six month Twitter hiatus. "I am not getting married and I am not pregnant. I don't understand why twitter won't take @persianla27 down," she wrote. "I have asked repeatedly. This person continues to impersonate and harass me and twitter needs to take the account down." A rep for the actress confirmed her denial, telling E! News, "Amanda is neither engaged nor pregnant, and that is not her Twitter account."
Laura Benanti welcomes her first child
"Supergirl" actress Laura Benanti and her husband Patrick Brown were treated to a pretty unbeatable Valentine on Feb. 14: the arrival of their first child. According to ET, the couple welcomed a baby girl at 3:33 pm on Valentine's Day. "The baby is beautiful and most importantly, healthy," said a rep for Laura, who wrote about a previous miscarriage in the Huffington Post in 2015. The actress, 37, announced her pregnancy last year, with a post that showed the cover of "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and the caption, "Doing a little research with @impbrown! Coming this winter…#BabyGirlBrown."

It doesn't look like the remaining members of Fifth Harmony are ready to forgive Camila Cabello for leaving the group just yet. Shortly after Camila's Seventeen cover story for the March/April edition surfaced online, Lauren Jauregui posted a tweet fans took as a Camila dis. "Fifth Harmony wasn't the maximum expression of me individually," Camila said in the story (via Us Weekly). "My fans are really going to know me from the music I'm writing. My goal is to be brave and open up my soul." Her former bandmate's response? "Fake that confidence bih. One day it'll be real."
